Family

Parent Resources
Some suggestions about how parents can best help their kids succeed in soccer.
"Soccer Starts at Home" - Tom Byer
"Tom Byer has focused his coaching skills on children and reached the point where he is, without any doubt, one of the world's leading thinkers on teaching children the technical skills of soccer. This book should be bought by every parent [...] to understand what a child who likes soccer can learn and how they can learn." - Paul Mariner, ex-England International Player
Play at Home
When team training is not available, this is a good compromise.
Play 1v1 with your young player. Two-minute halves.
First half: Do not keep score.
Second half: Keep score.
